🔹️WHAT IT MEANS TO BE ROOTED IN CHRIST JESUS.  PART ONE.🔹️

Ekgim daily devotion. Greetings of peace to you beloved family of God.

📖Colossians 2:7 Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving. ( AMP)📖
Our root in Christ Jesus is our foundation. It’s what everything else is built on. Our deep roots in Christ Jesus will give us a strong foundation to withstand the storms, trials, and challenges of life.
So what does it mean to be rooted in Christ:-

✍It means to  have a strong desire to know and love Christ no matter what. ( Psalm 42:1-2 ”  1 As the hart pants and longs for the water brooks, so I pant and long for You, O God. 2 . My inner self thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and behold the face of God. ( AMPC) read also  Philippians 3:10-11.

✍It means to have faith in christ Jesus even when it’s difficult to understand. ( Job 14:14 “If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my warfare and service I will wait, till my change and release shall come.”) Read also  Isaiah 26:3-4.

✍It means to spend time in His presence and to grow stronger in your faith. ( Psalm 84:10-12″ 10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand [anywhere else]; I would rather be a doorkeeper and stand at the threshold in the house of my God than to dwell [at ease] in the tents of wickedness.11 For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.12 O Lord of hosts, blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts in You [leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, and that without fear or misgiving]! AMPC; Psalm 16:11″ You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.; Exodus 33:15 “And Moses said to the Lord, If Your Presence does not go with me, do not carry us up from here!)

🛐🛐🛐May the Lord help you this year to deepen your root life in Him alone in Jesus Name. Amen. 🙏🙏🙏
