🔷Point the needle of your life in the right direction. part one.🔷
📖 ” I am the way and the truth and the life .No one comes to the Father accept through me” John 14:6 NIV.📖
✍Using the right point of reference is critical in making our decisions in this world.Without the right point of reference, we will lose our way in the complexity of this perishable world system.
✍The needle of our life is our mind. In our mind we make the decisions that determine what we actually end up doing with our time, talent, and treasure. This is the battle ground “the mind” . Whoever or whatever controls our mind controls us.
➡ We shall use the anology of a compass direction to help us illustrates the idea I want to share . The typical compass, north is at the top , east on the right side, south on the bottom, and west on the left side .
✍However, for the purpose of our study this week, I would like to substitute Jesus on the north point, Crowd on the east, Self on the south, and World on the west. These substitutes are the general reference points that strive to capture our attention and control the needle of our lives which is the mind.
✍The compass direction of life you choose to point at today , will determine how and where you will end in this life journey.
May i suggest to you today to choose Jesus Christ as the only true reference point of your life. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). This statement of truth is directional: Jesus Christ is True Northpersonified. As we fix our eyes and thoughts on Jesus Christ , we focus our mind on Him. And being the one in whom we find our being , we can’t miss our life destiny because He holds it.
