Grace and peace to you. Here is the word for today.
📖Genesis 6:5 “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”📖
✍If I were to ask you, “Do you have a dirty mind?” how would you answer? Before you consider what your answer would be remember the definition of dirty. Dirty is that which is not pure, not clean, contaminated with impurities; that which is inappropriate. And it all starts in our minds.
✍A dirty mind is a mind that has been tainted, polluted, contaminated by evil and entertains thoughts that are inappropriate. We live in a time in which Christians as the Bride of Christ have allowed their wedding garments to become soiled and defiled. Our three great enemies – the world, the flesh, and the devil have intensified their attacks seeking to defile us and to make us dirty through inappropriate imagination that we create in our minds.
✍Therefore, we need to have “PURITY OF MIND”. We need to have a Clean Thought-life, by taking the advice Paul gave to the Philippines in
Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
✍Frank Outlaw once said I quote “Watch you thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. Today pray this prayer in Psalm 139:23-24 “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts. And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting”
đź—ŁLet the mind of the Master be the master of your mind, and you will live a pure life by God’s grace Pleasing your creator in Jesus Name. AMEN 🙏🙏🙏
