📖Psalm 24:4 (GNTA) Those who are pure in act and in thought, who do not worship idols or make false promises.& Psalm 24:3-4 “Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.”📖
🔹️Purity of Action and Hands – Our acts should be clean as well as our hands🔹️
âś…Our actions can be holy/ pure actions or unholy/ impure actions. We can have Clean Hands or Dirty Hands. Our hands are instruments of actions. To have clean actions or hands is to be morally, ethically, spiritually upright. To do right. To do no wrong. It is not being perfect but striving always to do that which is right.
✅Washing of our hands has become now compulsory because of Coronavirus. Everyone now is trying to get used with it, why ?. Because It’s a matter of hygiene. Getting rid of germs, microbes so that we don’t catch or spread diseases. But have ever considered How many spiritual infections do we spread by having unclean actions and hands? How many blessings are we holding back because we have dirty actions and hands?
✅The scripture advises us to flee from impure actions (2 Timothy 2:22 “Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”) And also not to rush to lay hands on people because they can be contaminated (1 Timothy 5:22 “Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.”)
✍As Christians who have hope in God through Christ Jesus, should strive to have pure actions and clean hands because God is pure.(1 John 3: 3 “And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.) May our actions bring glory to God always . AMEN 🙏🙏
