Grace and peace to you. Here is the word for today
📖 Job 14:7 “Even a tree has more hope! If it is cut down, it will sprout again and grow new branches. [ NLT]📖
✅Job was a man to whom everything seemed to be going on well. He was rich in herds and possessions. He had children and a good relationship with God to the extent that God boasted about him “And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?” Job 1:8.
✅However, Job’s good standing with God did not insulate him from being attacked. He lost everything in One day. One day can make a big difference in one’s life. You may be suffering from adverse changes in fortunes gradually or suddenly as in the case of Job and it may seem as if your vision, dreams, achievements and aspirations have been cut down. In his travails, Job had this to say “7For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease, these words were not just blind words of faith but Job knew his God.
✅Job knew that Christ in him was his Hope in Glory (Colossians 1:27). As long as you have Christ, rooted in Him there is hope that whatever the enemy cut off in your life , can sprout again. Thank God that the situation you are passing through is just on the surface and will not affect your roots. What sustains a tree is the root of the tree. Roots are usually hidden, deep and spread anchoring the tree to the ground providing life sustaining nutrients to the tree.2 Corinthians 4:18 says “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal”.
✅The roots that sustain a person in times of adversity are dug in Christ Psalm 37:23-25 “23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread”
🛐🛐📖I pray that your enemy will not have permanent victory over you. May the uphold you firmly with His hands, May Jehovah never forsake you and cause everything in your life to sprout again in Jesus Name. AMEN 🙏🙏🙏
