Other ways through which you can develop your passion for God are:-
✅By having compassion for lost souls. The heartbeat of God is soul winning. For you to be able to win souls, you must love what God loves and hate what He hates , One of the thing that brings jubilation in Heaven is a soul won for the kingdom of God. Soul winning is a matter of urgency and those who win souls are wise. (John 4:35″ Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest [ESV]; Daniel 12:3 ” The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life , and he who wins souls is wise [NKJV] ).
✅By having passionate hunger for God’s word. One of the reasons David was a man after God’s heart was his passion for the word. When you desire the word of God like milk, you will have strength in the day of adversity, The word of God is a necessity for your spiritual nourishment. ( Jeremiah 15:16 “Your words were found and I ate them, And Your words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart; For I have been called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts [NASB]. Psalms 119:47 “I shall delight in Your commandments, Which I love.72 “The law of Your mouth is better to me Than thousands of gold and silver pieces. 103″How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!; 1 Peter 2:2. Like newborn babies you should crave (thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured and grow unto [completed] salvation, [AMP]).
