↪The Scripture above gives us some  important principles for making a lasting  positive change in our lives.
It’s no secret that people look to make changes in their lives at the beginning of the year. It’s a time when people get back into fitness, get their finances under control, and get serious about their spiritual lives. But too often these changes don’t last. As a christian, you’ve likely seen it many times before. You’ve probably even experienced it yourself, knowing that lasting change isn’t possible without going back to the operating manual of our lives which is God’s Word.
Romans 12:1-11 gives us some  important principles for making a lasting change in our lives. And the first principle is:-
✅Committing your body to God. Romans 12:1 says, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship” (Romans 12:1 NIV).
No matter what kind of change you want to make in your life mental, physical, financial, spiritual, or social it will require energy. The reason you don’t change is because you have no energy. The truth is, sometimes your  just too tired to change. That’s why change must start with your body. Everything you do for God in this life, you’ll do it using your body. In fact, God says to offer your body to him as a living sacrifice holy and pleasing to Him , because this is your true and proper worship to God .
And how can we offer our bodies to God in worship?
✍By cleansing your bodies. You need to detox your body from contaminants that come through your mouth (food and drinks) and toxins that come through your eyes and mind (negative things you watch and listen to).
✍By caring for your body. You can care for your body by getting regular exercise, getting enough sleep and eating well. God wants you healthy . So it’s your responsibility to keep your body healthy.  Beloved, I pray you to prosper concerning all things and to be in good health, just as your soul prospers in Jesus Name. Amen! 🙏🙏🙏
