Ekgim daily devotion. Greetings of peace to you beloved family of God.
✅Use every challenge to make you become spiritually strong.
(James 2:3-4 “You know that such testing of your faith produces endurance. Endure until your testing is over. Then you will be mature and complete, and you won’t need anything” (GW). When Jesus returns, it won’t matter if we made a ton of money in our careers. It won’t matter if we’re famous. God is more interested in us becoming spiritually strong. Whether you face vocational, financial, or relational challenges, once you use them correctly, they won’t stunt your spiritual growth, but instead they will spur you to grow even more and deepening your roots in Christ Jesus.
✅In using every challenge to make you strong, wait on God. Waiting on God may be hard. It may seem as if nothing is happening. And every part of your flesh wants to DO SOMETHING, because we don’t equate waiting with doing, and yet, that is exactly what we should do, for waiting is an exercise that builds our spiritual muscles. Waiting gives us strength. A popular Scripture that teaches us this can be found in Isaiah 40: 31 which says, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” We see from this verse that waiting invigorates and rejuvenates us. In waiting on God, we shouldn’t be getting tired. We should be excited, energized and expectant.
🛐🛐🛐 May you Draw your strength from God. His muscles never tire and He’s never out of breath. In times of challenges, may you not rely on your strength. Ephesians 6: 10 tells us to “…be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” It’s His strength that will sustain you in your walk of salvation and in waiting upon His return in Jesus Name. Amen! 🙏🙏🙏
