📖Psalm 100:3 “Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” (NKJV)📖
✍Another key word that expresses the essence of being grateful to God is DEPENDENCE. This verse shows three roles of God:-
↪Lord is GOD. We are to make Him ruler, master, boss of our lives. The Lord is God and we are NOT. God told Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM’” Exodus 3:14 (NAS) Folks, you have no control over God. God is God and we are not so we have to be grateful that we have a supreme being who committed Himself to be ours .
↪God is CREATOR. If you create something, you are greater than what you have created. You have every right over that which you have made.
“It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves” Psalm 100:3b (NKJV), so we ought to depend on our creator because He knows everything about us , let’s be grateful to God because He created us in His likeness and image .
↪God is SHEPHERD. “We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” Psalm 100:3c (NKJV). God guides us to the place of security, plenty and rest. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul.” Psalm 23:1-3 (NKJV)
✍From the beginning of this chapter we clearly see If we were created, then God is the Creator. If we are sheep, then God is our Shepherd. If we enter His courts, then He is our King. If we serve Him, then He is our Master. We have to be dependent on God. He created even the air that we breath. He knows every hair on our head. He knows every beat of our heart. We should be grateful and thank HIM for being God and we are dependent on Him. Amen
