GIVE THANKS TO GOD ALWAYS. (PART THREE)

Nov 10, 2021 | Devotional | 0 comments

Grace and peace to you. Here is the word for today .

✍God deserves thanks because He saves us. Psalm 13:5 says,” my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.” God has saved us through His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. And He continues to save us and helping us. We were meant to burn in Hell, but salvation came through Christ to save us from that danger, we should be grateful to God.
✍God deserves thanks because He cares for us. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (I Peter 5:7 NKJV). When we say that God’s care for us is comprehensive we mean that in every detail of our lives God is sovereign, that He is working to make us more like Him, and in turn that He is accomplishing His will for us and His kingdom and all these starts with willingness to serve and honor God by following His lead and commands.
✍We cannot out-care God. His capacity to care is infinite and his competence to care is matchless. We can care because He cares. There is no care of ours that God does not care about. If it is important to us, then God cares about it. God’s desire is to come alongside us and realign our cares with what He cares about the most. He cares enough to bear our anxieties and to replace them with His peace and assurance. When we give God our worries, we in turn, receive His calming presence.
✍God’s system of care is countercultural. God transforms our cares into what He cares about; so let’s cast our cares on Christ. God cares immensely. So we should cast our cares on Him by faith and let Him care. He cares and can be trusted. Therefore, allow Him to do what He does best. This takes humility on our part, acknowledging a desperate need for God. Our declaration of dependence is two-fold. We admit we are anxious, and can’t handle our worry alone. So submit to the fact that only God can handle the level of concern. Hence, our submission to God allows His care to consume our anxieties. Over time, God helps bring our feeble faith and misguided mind into focus on Him. What started out as a burden, He transforms it into a blessing and our pains becomes productive.
✍Let’s be thankful to God because of the Salvation He has availed to us and because He cares for us in Jesus Name. Amen! 🙏🙏🙏
