Ekgim daily devotion. Greetings of peace to you beloved family of God.
đź“–Isaiah 43:2 ” When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. [NLT]đź“–
✍In this verse, God is telling the Jewish people that He will be with them in their most troubling times, supporting them through, giving them the strength to move beyond and delivering them out of danger without harm. The Jewish people were in captivity in Babylon. This verse can resonate with us in whatever situations we are passing through, God knows what it is to suffer, He knows our pain and will always be with us in every situation we face.
✍God protected Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Nebuchadnezzar had his soldiers throw them into a furnace after they refused to worship any god but the truth God who created the Earth and Heaven. The furnace was so hot that the soldiers who threw them into the furnace were killed by the flames of the fire. Yet Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego emerged from the furnace completely unsinged. What consumed others won’t consume you because God is with you.
✍God opened the Red Sea for miles to allow the Israelites to walk on dry land through the sea (Exodus 14:21-22). Then God let the walls of the sea close and destroy Israel’s enemies. He did this to encourage the unbelieving Israelites to trust in Him in their difficulties and show them that those who hurt God’s people will be ruined. The Lord will make ways for you where seems to be no way because, He cares.
✍Child of God, there is hope, the scripture says “Many are the affliction of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all. Psalm 34:19”. The Hebrew word translated “deliver” in this verse also means “snatches away” and “rescues.” The Lord will rescue you from anything that has caused pain in your life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
