đź“–Deuteronomy 7:9 says, “Know that Yahweh your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His gracious covenant loyalty for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandsđź“–
✍Today you probably have a list of things you thought you would have achieved by now that did not come through, I come to encourage you not to give up. Understand and settle it deep within your heart that GOD IS TOO FAITHFUL TO FAIL YOU. He will not be faithful; He is FAITHFUL. His name is FAITHFUL. It is not a quality He will acquire tomorrow, it is a part of Him. FAITHFUL is His name. So don’t get discouraged. Don’t bury your head and think it is all over. Delay is not denial, don’t pack up just yet, God has a miracle in stock for you.
✍God’s Word is a seed (Luke 8:11). Once it’s planted, it will grow and develop into the fruit the Lord intends it to become.
God’s Word is trustworthy. His promises are true. What God says he will do, he will do. The English Standard Version expresses this idea in 2 Corinthians 1:20:
“For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.”
✍Because God is faithful, He keeps up His side of the relationship even when we don’t. 2 Tim. 2:13: If we are faithless, He remains faithful – for He cannot deny Himself.
✍Because God is faithful, we can depend on Him, count on Him, and look for Him to come through for us in every circumstance. No wonder Paul was so forceful in 2 Tim. 1:12 when he declared, “But I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.” God will keep us because God has committed Himself to completing our salvation. He is faithful. That’s our God.
