Grace and peace to you. Here is the word for today.
📖Key Verse: “O Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you.” (Psalm 84:12 )📖
3. THE CONTINUAL WALK WITH GOD
↪Notice the description of this present life in verse 6. We are all passing through the Valley of Baca (“weeping”); we all sooner or later come to know something of sorrow, disappointment, and loss, for the road God calls us to walk must go by the way of the valley. No one is exempted from the Baca experiences, but the great word in verse 6 is “ through”. The valley is not our home, for we are passing through it and on into the presence of God (verse 7)
↪ Walking with God refers to how we live. It’s Christian living. The Bible commands us to walk In Christ. “Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him. Colossians 2:6”. Once you’ve received Jesus as your Savior, you’re commanded to walk in Him. But you’re not alone in this. God will walk with you now just as He walked in the Garden of Eden in Adam and Eve’s day (Genesis 3:8; 2 Corinthians 6:16). God desires a relationship with you. Walking with God isn’t just about walking away from sin but into a thriving relationship with your Creator!
↪ If we are daily walking with God in close communion with him, those around us cannot help but see, that even though we are just “unschooled, ordinary” people with flaws and personal issues, we stand out. We act different and shine brighter. The longer we walk closely with God, the better we will know him. He will continually open our eyes to His will and His Spirit in us reveals His wisdom and purpose to us. You can’t walk with God and lag behind in life, your destination is always secure successful.
✍ My prayer for you is in this verse of the Bible. Colossians 1:10“…Walk-in a manner worthy of the Lord and please him in every way; bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God…”
And all you undertake, you will experience uncommon grace, favor, and blessings in Jesus’ Name. AMEN 🙏🙏🙏
