Living the Christ’s -Powered Life Day by Day (PART FOUR )

Feb 25, 2021 | Devotional | 0 comments

Ekgim daily devotion. Greetings of peace to you beloved family of God.

📖Philippians 3:13-14 “focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us” 📖

✅Living the Christ’s -Powered Life Day by Day, Requires Daily Setting Of Our Eyes on the Heavenly  Prize.  Well, what is so important about heaven? Heaven is REAL. SO real. We tend to think of and envisage heaven with our own logical understanding but it’s just so much bigger than that. Heaven; is a place of fellowship, eternal joy and worshipping around the throne of God. Paul’s focus is on forward momentum and not on past mistakes otherwise we become Christians that are not singularly focused! We should look forward to the prize to be with Christ Jesus !
✍It’s quite challenging  these days to stay focused. Many things vie for our attention: family, friends, work, hobbies, sports, social media to mention but a few. Some of these things are good, but they can actually get in the way of God’s plans and purposes for us. We should live each moment  with eternity conscience, focusing beyond this earthly life and getting prepared for eternity.
✍As you consider your days, do they just “happen” or do you actually plan how you are going to use your time? Are you focusing on earthly goals or heavenly goals? And how do you balance it all? As you focus on God’s purposes, read His Word and applying it to your life, and taking time to discuss all of it with God, the Holy Spirit will empower you to keep your eyes on the heavenly prize. Having time every day with God.
🛐🛐🛐May we focus our lives on things that are worthy of praise,  things that brings honor  and pleases God by the help of the Holy spirit in Jesus Name. Amen! 🙏🙏🙏
