Ekgim daily devotion. Greetings of peace to you beloved family of God.
đź“– Joshua 1:8 ” This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success” [AMP]đź“–
âś…Living a Christ’s -powered life day by day , requires daily commitment to God’s word. The word of God is your spiritual food that nourishes and empowers your inner man . Are you reading and studying God’s Word every day, letting it soak into your mind and heart? As we consider the lives of the great Bible heroes, we see that they depended on the Word of God to guide and direct them. God told Joshua that if he’s to be successful he would need to meditate on God’s Word day and night. David valued God’s Word more than thousands of pieces of gold and silver (Psalm 19:7-10). Job said he treasured God’s Word more than his daily food (Job 23:12). Jeremiah said when he found God’s words he ate them and they became his heart’s delight ( Jeremiah 15:16).
✍Hebrews 4:12 tells us, “For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.” The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to lead and direct us. We can trust the Word of God because is true and the Holy Spirit to guide us daily.
✍As you read and study and apply God’s Word to your life, you will be transformed … and be empowered. Christ’s Power flows out of us as God’s Word works in us. Psalm 119 reveals numerous importance of God’s word. If you have time read the whole chapter. But in these verse we see that through God’s Word, He gives hope to the hopeless. Again and again, the psalmist writes, “I hope in Your Word” (vv. 43, 49, 81, 114, 147). To the afflicted, the Lord gives comfort (vv. 50, 52, 76), and to those undergoing trials, He gives joy. I’m encouraged by verse 111: “I have inherited Your testimonies forever, for they are the joy of my heart.” And verse 162: “I rejoice at Your Word, as one who finds great spoil.”
Hallelujah ! May the Lord create a hunger in us for His word because it’s a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, it’s the source of wisdom for living a successfullife in Jesus Name. Amen! 🙏🙏🙏
