Grace and peace to you. Here is the word for today
📖2 Corinthians 12:7-10 ” Lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing, I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong” 📖
🔷️Adversity reminds us of our weaknesses and the need for God’s strength.🔷️
↪The Apostle Paul knew what it meant to live with adversity that would not go away. He learned to see the good that God intended to bring to his life through it and to rejoice in God’s design.
↪As we accept our unchangeable features and embrace God’s purposes for our difficulties, we will experience the power of Christ in our lives. We can trust God to care for us and to provide all that we need. “Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. For the knoweth our frame: he remembereth that we are dust” (Psalm 103:13–14).
↪God’s Glory is wrapped in our Adversity. God gives us adversity to display His glory in our dependency on Him and His sufficiency in us. In your weakness, God’s strength will manifest bountifully and you will come out of that adversity victoriously and gloriously in Jesus’ Name. AMEN🙏🙏🙏
