📖 1 Kings 18:42 “So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; hthen he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, 43 and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.”So he went up and looked, and said, “There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.”
44 Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, 1‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’ ” 45 Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel.📖
✅According to the above Scripture, we see that Elijah to see results, he persisted and endured in prayer till the seventh time that the servant said there is a sign. Therefore, when we persist in prayer, our faith is being tested .
✅One of the ways God tests our faith is by delaying some answers to our prayers. As we keep persisting and enduring in prayer, our faith is streched, tested and it grows. That is why the Bible says in James 1:3-4 says, “When your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing” (NLT)
✅ It’s in delay of answers to our prayers and persistence in prayer that our faith muscles are developed. And the only way we can grow to spiritual maturity is to have our faith tested. And when we pass this test , the Bible says we shall be perfect , complete and needing nothing .
✅There is someone reading this message and you have been persisting and enduring up to now, May be it’s your seventh time also . I hear a sound of breakthrough, healing, restoration, divine provision. Start to prepare the clothes for the baby, start to prepare for the interview, start to prepare for the marriage, start to prepare for the victory and promotion, because God’s storm of miracle is coming your way in Jesus Name.
