Shalom beloved family of God. Here is the word for today.

📖Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
19 Better it is to be of a humble spirit with the meek and poor than to divide the spoil with the proud.[AMP]📖

✅Another things we must guard against, so as to experience the outstanding successful living is Pride: Some Christians are so full of pride that they don’t know that it’s their pride that has gotten them grounded. No matter how loaded the potentials in us are, if we walk in pride, we don’t have a future. Consider King Nebuchadnezzar, at the height of his pride, God took him down and turned him into a wild beast for 7 years

✍Pride is excessive self-esteem known as conceit or arrogance. Pride is basically a sin of attitude and of the heart and spirit. It includes the ideas of arrogance, cynical insensitivity to the needs of others, and presumption. Pride is both a disposition/attitude and a type of conduct.

✍Pride is self-centered, rather than God-centered, perspective on life. Many often find themselves inordinately proud position of what they have accomplished and who they are. In turn, they don’t give thanks to the Lord, our true source of strength. He is the one who gave us these abilities and opportunities, and all for the purpose of growing His kingdom

✍It takes meekness to learn and apply ourselves to it if we want to live a successful life . James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. [KJV]
May the Lord help us to remain humble no matter the education level we have attained, or wealth we have accumulated and position we have reached . In all these things, let’s recorgnize the source which is God, and always return the glory to Him in Jesus Name. AMEN 🙏🙏🙏
