✍If there has been a moment for us to be closer to God, its now. Whom you are connected to determines what you collect, become and how your destiny will be. As Christians we ought to desire an intimate relationship with God; this should be our ultimate goal not just getting acquainted with him, but to love Him more than we have done before.
✍Christianity isn’t a creed ( confession, statement of faith or a symbol) , it’s all about Jesus Christ, it’s to have Christ liked nature in us. As children of God, every one of us must have a rugged determination to desire more of Christ because He is coming back for a church without stain, blemish or wrinkle!
✍Many nowadays are running after gifts, than the giver and checking for the fruits. Jesus said “Mathew 7:16 “You will fully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? [AMP] That is why charisma can take you to the top, but character will sustain you on top. ( Matthew 7:19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. [KJV] Child of God, we will be judged by our fruits not gifts. So allow God to transform you inside out so that you will be among those in the book of life.
✍As we draw closer to God, we shall know Him better , we shall reflect His nature more , we shall realise that we are inadequate with Him ( Psalms 73:25-28 NKJV) Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. 26 My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. 27 For indeed, those who are far from You shall perish; You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry. 28 But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, That I may declare all Your works.) God responds to people that desire Him with their whole heart, those that hunger and thirst for Him and His righteousness. We must come to the humble revelation that we are spiritually wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked. This revelation comes through the anointing of the Holy Spirit that opens our eyes so that we can see ourselves in the light of God’s holiness; or through situations and circumstances that bring us to our knees. May our deepest quest, be drawing closer to God in Jesus Name. Amen!🙏🙏🙏
