Grace and peace to you. Here is the word for today.
đź“–Psalms 37:5 ” Commit your way to the LORD; Trust in Him and He will act” [ESV]đź“–
↪Think about the word trust with me for a moment. What does it really mean? What do you trust in? Who do you trust? And what does your behavior show about your trust—in people and in things?
↪Trust is assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something; in which confidence is placed. Does this describe your trust in God? Do you have an assured reliance on his character, his ability, his strength? Do you have confidence in him?
↪ Trusting God also is believing that He loves you and knowing He’s good, He has the power to help you, and He wants to help you. Christians are called believers, but many times, we are unbelieving believers. We trust our friends, the bank, the stock market, or the government more than we trust God and His Word.
✍In John 15:5, Jesus says that apart from Him, we can do nothing. We need to lean on Him for help with everything in our lives. God wants us to put Him first in our lives. He wants us to put our confidence and trust in Him, all the time, in everything. Let’s trust Him and He will act in a way we never imagined or expected in Jesus’ Name. AMEN 🙏🙏🙏
