📖1 Thessalonians 5: 24 Faithful is He Who is calling you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you].[ AMP]📖
↪ I don’t know about you, but I so often need the reminder that I don’t have to FEEL qualified to do what God is calling me to do. If He called me, HE will do it. There is such comfort to me knowing it’s not up to ME, but about the one WHO called me is FAITHFUL.
↪ All people (even those we love the most) will disappoint us and let us down. All things in our lives will break and fall apart. People’s promises WILL certainly be broken. But God’s promises…will NEVER be broken. If He said it, He WILL do it. God IS faithful. Faithful is WHO He is.
He always keeps His word because if He did not, He would not be God!
↪ Everything that God says and does is absolutely 100% certain. He is dependable and certain. He does not fail or forget or falter or change or disappoint. EVER. He says what He means and does what He says. We must have the conviction that the Word of God is living and powerful and that it works in those who receive and trust in it. The promises of God are all sourced in Him and find their “yes” in Jesus Christ.
↪ We must have the conviction that we serve a God who sees and provides. When He gives us an assignment, we can be confident of experiencing His provision because, in His son Jesus Christ, He meets all our needs according to His riches in glory. We are reminded that if He has called us to it, He WILL do it (and equip us to do it). Keep resting in the knowledge that His calling comes with an equipping. It’s not up to you, it’s up to Him!
🛐🛐🛐 My prayer is that if you are feeling overwhelmed with the realities that are not matching your expectations, FAITHFUL is HE, who called you. He will DO what HE said, HE will DO in Jesus’ Name. AMEN 🙏🙏🙏
