✅Another way through which you can develop your passion for God is by Surrounding yourself with people passionate about God . (Proverbs 27:17″ Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend [to show rage or worthy purpose]. (AMP). People who are passionate for God are those who express their intensity through the medium of life. They immerse themselves in the things of God and become deeply engaged in and find themselves flowing. These are people who like the inspired individuals, who infect you with their ability to become passionate. They cause you to reflect on your own levels of passion and guide you curiously to a place where you can be just as passionate as them.
✍Sometimes, the difference between living in a dry and dead place spiritually, and living a life of fiery passion comes down to the people with whom we surround ourselves with. If you are surrounded by negative, pessimistic, lookworm , people who suck the passion out of you; who leave you feeling defeated and weighed down, it will be hard to cultivate a heart of passion for God. The people you associate with can affect your spiritual and physical life positively or negatively. (1Corinthians 15: 33 “Do not be misled: “Bad companionships corrupt good morals.” [BLB] )
✍People who are passionate for God inspire those around them to cultivate passion for God in their own lives because passion is contagious! Make sure your real-life friends are passionate for God. They spend time fellowshipping with God, they love reading and obeying God’s word, those who love the things of the kingdom of God, are those you should associate with. Love is a command , but friendship is by choice, so be careful whom you associate with.
✍ Find books, podcasts, YouTube channels, and other resources by passionate people that will help to feed that passion growing in your heart. Those resources will encourage you to seek God in a deeper way in your life and will be those “springs in the Valley of Baca” for you that will continue to feed your passion until you climb a new mountain.
🛐🛐🛐May the LORD help you to locate your Paul, Moses, Elijah, Deborah, Daniel , Joseph, Naomi etc, who will inspire you to have passion for God. Each of these people inspired someone to have passion for God, may the lord ignite fresh fire, and hunger for Him and His word in Jesus Name. Amen! 🙏🙏🙏
